Imaging Technology for Marketers
Janet Duffy RT, (R) (M) and Angela Krause RT, ARRT
All radiology marketers know the business and marketing parts of their job, but many missed learning the imaging/ technical side of it. Get a concentrated sample of what your technologists learned in training so that you can “talk the talk AND walk the walk”. Get a mini course on anatomy, terminology, positioning and how specific modalities work. Learn why radiation protection matters and how good medical documentation can make or break a malpractice claim and reduce complaints. Get an overview of some newer and emerging imaging technologies. Never again ask what the difference is between CT and MRI!
