Michael Arrigo, managing partner of No World Borders, provides consulting services to health care payors and providers regarding revenue cycle management, meaningful use and electronic health records, and the impact of ICD-10 on payors and providers from a people, process, financial and IT perspective. He is a regular speaker, and was recently quoted in the Wall Street Journal Venture Capital Dispatch regarding venture-backed information-technology companies that serve hospitals and health insurers, to deal with "Y2K" problems such as ICD-10. He is an expert in participatory social media for building brands and crowd sourcing solutions. Mr. Arrigo founded No World Borders and secured its first clients including Abbott Labs and leading health plans and providers.

Brian Baker, a strategist and serial entrepreneur, has enjoyed over 27 years in the diagnostic imaging and technology sectors of health care. Starting his career as an engineer and later getting his clinical license, his experience includes working with and advising some of the most well known and respected names in health care for providers and technology. Today, as president of Regents Health Resources and National Imaging Network, his focus is on business strategy and development. Regents is a leading national consulting firm for imaging providers and National Imaging Network is a collaborative focused on improving the efficiency, utilization and long term stability of imaging providers nationwide. 

Steve Bedwell, MD, speaks to a wide range of health care audiences; from hospital leaders and clinical teams to software providers and pharmaceutical companies. An experienced teacher, Dr. Bedwell spent seven years explaining the complexities of medicine at the Royal London Hospital. He presents a game-changing perspective on what it takes to stay sane in the face of rapid shifts in strategy, organization and technology. Dr. Bedwell confronts the taken-for-granted myths in his audiences’ points of view, and doesn’t pull any punches! How does he get away with it? Firstly, as a medical doctor, Dr. Bedwell has the credibility of a true industry insider. Secondly, he averages a huge laugh every 12 seconds. He tickles his audiences’ funny bones so he can also rub some raw nerves. Finally, after presenting the science, he proves the validity of his strategies with wildly interactive “rivet your eyeballs to the stage” demonstrations. Turns out, you really can laugh your way to CE credits!

Judy Burleson, MHSA, is director of metrics at the American College of Radiology (ACR) serving as staff representative to quality organizations such as NQF, AQA and the AMA Consortium. She also participates in development and implementation of performance measures for programs like CMS PQRI. In the health care field for more than 20 years, Ms. Burleson’s experiences include rural social work, health care IT consulting and NCQA HEDIS compliance audits. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from East Tennessee State University, a master’s in health administration from George Washington University and was also a Navy officer.

Ted Burnes, MPA, has served as director of RADPAC and political education for the American College of Radiology (ACR) for more than seven years. In addition to his fundraising activities, he manages the ACR’s Grassroots Program that has organized more than 140 facility visits by Members of Congress to radiology practices throughout the country. Mr. Burnes has worked on political campaigns and managed political polling accounts for local, state and federal candidates. He has also lobbied Members of Congress and state legislators on numerous issues, with a particular focus on health policy. Mr. Burnes earned an undergraduate degree in government and politics from George Mason University as well as a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in government relations.

Mike Byam, MBA, is the author of “The WOW! Workplace” and managing partner of Terryberry, an international firm that specializes in implementing and managing employee recognition programs. Mr. Byam is a frequent speaker on the topic of employee recognition to human resource professionals and business groups around North America. He has also consulted with hundreds of organizations – from family businesses to Fortune 500 companies – to develop recognition strategies for employee retention and performance improvement. When he is not busy championing the advancement of employee recognition awareness around the globe, Mr. Byam is an Ironman triathlete and multi-time marathoner. His experiences lend him a unique perspective on personal motivation and inspiration, and how they affect everyone in today’s fast changing workplace.

Chad L.Calendine, MD is the President of Advanced Diagnostic Imaging, PC, the President of Premier Radiology, LLC, and the President of Phydata, LLC, located in Nashville, Tennessee. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Tennessee. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Emory University. He subsequently completed his Musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Emory University as well. Following training, he and his family moved to Nashville. He remains active in the American College of Radiology, the Radiologic Society of North America, the American Roetgen Ray Society, and the Radiology Business Management Association. 

 Denise Cawley, CPC, MHA, is the vice president, client services, at GeBBS Healthcare Solutions. She has more than 20 years of experience in health care revenue cycle management in a hospital and physician environment. She also has over seven years of experience working for an academic teaching facility. Prior to joining GeBBS, she was an associate director with one of the largest multi-specialty faculty practices in California and was responsible for directing the revenue operations for the central billing office. Ms. Cawley is a CPC certified coder and has a master's in health administration (MHA) from the University of La Verne.

Richard Cooper, JD, is an attorney with McDonald Hopkins, LLC, and is manager of the firm’s national health care practice group and is co-chair of its health care restructuring practice group. He focuses his national practice in health care law, representing clients in transactional, restructuring, corporate, regulatory, reimbursement, contractual, strategic planning, and venture matters. Mr. Cooper also has extensive experience representing laboratories and pathology groups. He serves as outside counsel for the American Pathology Foundation and is the author of a number of monographs related to the pathology/laboratory arena.

Matthew Cox, PMP, is vice president of vRad Alliance. His previous experience includes serving as regional administrator at Duke University Health System, and Director of Product Management at Misys Healthcare (now Allscripts). Mr. Cox is also a board member of Lucid Technologies.

W. Kenneth Davis, Jr., JD, is a partner in the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. He counsels health care providers on the structuring, growth and ongoing operations of all types of businesses and relationships including initial business model development, analysis of regulatory, compliance and reimbursement issues, negotiation of contracts, various types of financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Chicago and his law degree with honor from DePaul University College of Law. 

Maurine S. Dennis, MPH, MBA, is a senior director in the Department of Economics and Health Policy at the American College of Radiology (ACR) and has worked at the ACR for several years. She is a graduate of Lawrence University, Appleton, Wis., and also holds a Master of Public Health/Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Ms. Dennis has a wealth of experience in the new code development and payment valuation process, having served with the American Medical Association (AMA) as senior health policy associate in the area of physician payment services. She also has experience as a senior health care consultant with Ernst & Young and the Alliance Consulting Group.

Richard Duszak, MD, FACR, FRBMA,  practices diagnostic radiology with Mid-South Imaging and Therapeutics in Memphis, where he serves as Director of Resident Research. Former vice-chair of the ACR’s Commission on Economics, he currently serves as inaugural chair of the College’s new Committee on Imaging Policy and Economic Research (CIPER) and as a member of the Executive Committee of the AMA’s CPT Editorial Panel. Recognized by Best Doctors in America and America’s Top Radiologists, Dr. Duszak lectures frequently on a variety of topics in clinical radiology, physician reimbursement, and practice management. He has authored or co-authored over one hundred scholarly publications in these areas, and has served for nearly a decade as Associate Editor for Clinical Practice of the Journal of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Duszak has served as a consultant to numerous groups and organizations, including the United States Department of Justice and several large health insurance companies. 

Deborah Emerson, RT(R)(M)(CV)(QM), has over 30 years of experience in the field of imaging. She presently serves as the quality assurance coordinator for Virginia Radiology Associates, P.C. in Manassas, Va. In this role she is responsible for monitoring and demonstrating the provision of quality imaging services by the practice, including staffing the quality patient care committee, coordinating the practice’s QA Program, monitoring radiologists’ compliance with accreditation requirements, radiologist credentialing, and monitoring and ensuring that the practice is prepared to meet various payors’ pay-for-performance requirements, including the implementation and maintenance of the practice’s PQRI/PQRS program.

Kelly Emrick, PhD, ARRT, is CEO of Atlantic Radiology Associates/ARA Holdings LLC, in Savannah Georgia. Atlantic Radiology Associates is a sub-specialized group of radiologists servicing Memorial Health University Medical Center, Chatham and Wayne Counties, Mercer University’s radiology residency teaching program, and teleradiology accounts in Georgia, Florida, South and North Carolina. Emrick took the helm of ARA in August 2009, after providing successful leadership as executive director, ancillary services Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah Georgia. Emrick is certified in risk and compliance, through the International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP). Emrick also holds a PhD in Healthcare Management and an MBA in Business and Financial Management.   

Jeff Fox, MBA, serves on the RBMA’s Data Collection and Reporting Committee and is also the current president of the Ohio RBMA. He also participates on HIMSS’ Medical Banking, Revenue Cycle Task Force Improvement, and ICD-10 Task Force Committees. Mr. Fox has over 20 years of experience in health care management and administration including inner city clinics, practice management and billing operations. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University and a master’s in business administration from Loyola University Chicago. Currently Mr. Fox is employed by Riverside Radiology and Interventional Associates, Inc., a 70-plus physician sub-specialty radiology practice based in Columbus, Ohio.

Brian Gale, MD, MBA, is an expert on critical test results management (CTRM) systems designed to improve the reliability of clinical data notifications. Dr. Gale founded SaferMD, LLC in order to independently verify for third parties (such as insurance underwriters) that such programs are used effectively when purchased. 

 Josh Gray has served in a variety of position at The Advisory Board Company since 1995.  He currently serves and Managing Director of the Financial Leadership Council, where he specializes in strategic finance and revenue cycle performance improvement, as well as the Imaging Performance Partnership, which serves the leaders of hospital-based imaging programs. In earlier positions with the Advisory Board, Mr. Gray led the Nursing Executive Center and the Oncology Roundtable.  He previously worked with the Boston Consulting Group, a strategy consultancy, where he advised a variety of academic medical centers and other health care providers and published on approaches to disease management.  Mr. Gray holds an MBA from the Wharton School, with concentrations in Finance and Health Care Management, and an AB in History from Brown University.

 Jeffrey Hayes, MS, CHC, RT(R)(MR), has more than 30 years’ experience in the health care industry. He began his career as an x-ray technologist and went on to become the director of imaging services at a hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. He was hired by the Eastman Kodak Company and worked in the health sciences division for 13 years as an account manager for hospital radiology departments and outpatient imaging centers. After Kodak Mr. Hayes was a regional sales manager for a national company which sold, installed, and maintained teleradiology and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). He later returned to direct patient care providers managing outpatient imaging centers. More recently, he has served as the corporate compliance officer for a multi-center, outpatient radiology practice in northwest Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. Hayes is also an adjunct faculty member at GateWay Community College in Phoenix, where he teaches health care law and ethics.

Todd Hunt speaks to organizations that want to add fun to their general sessions and send members out the door smiling – with tips to improve communication and success. As an executive at Ogilvy & Mather, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies, he learned the inner workings of communication. As owner of a marketing company, he confirmed that people mess up every day! Now a professional speaker, he regales audiences with communication lessons wrapped in laughter.

Pam Kassing, MPA, RCC,  is a Senior Economic Advisor for the Department of Economics and Health Policy at the American College of Radiology (ACR).  She has worked at ACR for 25 years.  Ms. Kassing is an expert in Medicare payments systems focusing specifically on the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.  Her main focus is in policy analysis including the development and presentation of data to affect a change in health policy for both Medicare and private payer issues.  She works in cooperation with ACR’s Government Relations Department and other lobbying groups in DC on policy issues that also appear in legislation.  Most recently she has been focusing on health care reform and new payment and practice models for the College and its members. 

Curtis Kauffman-Pickelle is the president and CEO of the Imaging Center Institute. His professional experience also includes strategic planning and marketing consulting. He is the founding publisher and editor of ImagingBiz.

Mitchell Kusy, Ph.D., is a professor in the Ph.D. program in leadership and change at Antioch University and an international consultant to leadership. A Fulbright Scholar in international organization development, Dr. Kusy was previously head of leadership development at American Express and head of organization development for HealthPartners, Minneapolis. Author of several business books, he has published his most popular book with co-author Dr. Elizabeth Holloway: “Toxic Workplace!: Managing Toxic Personalities and Their Systems of Power.”. He consults nationally and internationally in strategic planning, organization development, and everyday civility and its impact on performance, social responsibility and the bottom line. He received the Minnesota Organization Development Practitioner of the Year Award in 1998 and is an executive fellow in the School of Business at the University of Minnesota and a visiting professor at the School of Enterprise, University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Brigette LaBar is a healthcare executive who began her career in revenue cycle management after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from the California State University at Long Beach. She has worked as a senior executive on revenue cycle management projects, medical billing information systems selection and payer contracting negotiations. In her present role as Client Relations Director at GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, Ms. LaBar has the opportunity to combine her multiple experiences and skills in the Revenue Cycle arena to provide consistent, reliable and forward-thinking information to GeBBS’ clients.  

Robert N. LaDouceur is the Vice President – Operations and Business Development at Center for Diagnostic Imaging in Chesterfield, Missouri.  He is responsible for sales, operations, profit and new center development for centers Missouri, Kansas and Florida.  In his more than eleven years with Center for Diagnostic Imaging, he has developed and opened nine centers, and in one center in Florida, increased procedure volume by 10,000 procedures over the previous year.  Mr. LaDouceur has been in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years.  

 Sherri Lewman began her career in health care as a certified nuclear medicine technologist over 15 years ago. She is a versatile operations director with a record of consistent achievement and professional growth within the field of medical imaging. Her expertise is in operations management, project and strategic management, and business development in the ambulatory care setting. Ms. Lewman’s professional background includes development and operations of outreach and retail centers, and developing, opening and operating several free-standing, joint-ventured imaging centers. She is currently the director of medical imaging, cardiology and ambulatory services at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Fla.

Wendy Lomers, CPA, MBA, joined Acclaim in February 2010. A certified public accountant, Ms. Lomers also holds a Master’s degree in management. She has over 25 years experience working with medical and radiology practices as a CPA, CFO, and an administrator. Prior to joining Acclaim, she served as Administrative Director for Radiology Associates of San Antonio, where she was responsible for strategic planning and management of a multi-hospital based practice, nine wholly owned imaging centers, a Texas based teleradiology practice, as well as a not-for profit breast imaging foundation. This experience included management of the revenue cycle from the initial patient/physician contact through to revenue collection. This process included data interfaces with various information systems to efficiently and accurately bring data into the practice management system.  Currently serving on RBMA’s Finance Committee and Managed Care Task Force, Ms. Lomers is also active in the Texas RBMA Chapter, having the privilege of serving several terms as president. 

Missy T. Lovell, BSN, MBA, serves as the corporate compliance manager with Medical Management Professionals, Inc. (MMP). Ms. Lovell has spent her entire career in the health care industry, beginning as a registered nurse caring for pre- and post-operative surgical patients. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and went on to work in various clinical training and administrative positions for the same not-for-profit health system. In 1991, Ms. Lovell began working with the Physician Management Services Department and was the regional practice administrator for many medical practices within the health system. She began her career with MMP in March 2000.

Robert Maier, CPA, is CEO and founder of Regents Health Resources, Inc.  He is a former CPA, and from 1977 to 1984 was the CFO and then CEO of Heights General Hospital in Albuquerque New Mexico.  Since 1984 he has been CEO of LINC Management Services, Healthcare Resource Management. He has extensive experience in planning medical imaging services including the formation of joint ventures and the development of new imaging centers.

H. Anthony Martinez Jr., BBA, is a member of Zotec Partners. Mr. Martinez was with Medical Business Service, Inc.  (MBS) for over 19 years before becoming part of Zotec during the September 2011 merger. In his years at MBS Mr. Martinez’s positions have included executive vice president of practice management, COO, CFO and director of information systems. Mr. Martinez has experience with all aspects of A/R practice management including operations, client services, third party contract reimbursement negotiations and information systems technology management, in which he has over 20 years of experience across various industries. Mr. Martinez has a business degree from the University of Miami with a major in accounting.

Marion A. McGowan, RN, is President of Lancaster General Hospital, a 525-bed regional referral hospital in south central Pennsylvania, the keystone of the Lancaster General Health system, and Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital, a -98-bed hospital dedicated to maternity services and women’s health.  She is an executive vice president of Lancaster General Health, a not-for-profit health system that features a diverse range of healthcare services including hospitals, outpatient centers, home based services, and physician practices located in the South Central region of Pennsylvania.  She also serves as the President of the Lancaster General Health Innovative Solutions, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to launching new services, products, and business models that address complex healthcare issues.  Mrs. McGowan holds more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience in integrated healthcare delivery systems.  Mrs. McGowan is currently a doctoral student in the philosophy of leadership.  She has earned a master’s degree of public management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree of nursing from Carlow University.   

 Melody W. Mulaik, PCS, FCS, CPC, CPC-H, RCC, is the president and co-founder of Coding Strategies, Inc. and Coding Metrix, Inc. located in Atlanta, Ga. She is a frequent speaker and author for nationally recognized professional organizations and publications. Prior to founding CSI, she held the position of vice president of billing compliance for a large national billing company, where she was responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the billing compliance program. In a direct operational capacity, Ms. Mulaik provided her expertise at three Atlanta area hospitals in operations, finance and management engineering disciplines.

N. Stephen Ober, MD, MBA, serves as the lead on CodeRyte’s data mining product development. Prior to joining CodeRyte Dr. Ober was executive vice president of Verisk Health, a provider of clinical and financial risk assessment products.  In 2004 he became executive director of business incubation in Boston University’s Office of Technology Development.  While at BU, he started the New Ventures group in 2006 to support BU faculty and students establish new companies based on BU research and technologies.  Prior to joining BU, Dr. Ober was co-founder and president of BG-Medicine, Inc., a biotechnology company that developed and applied a unique “systems biology” approach to drug discovery and development.  Prior to BG-Medicine, Dr. Ober was president and chief executive officer of Synergy Health Care, a successful health information and data analytics company.  Synergy was founded by Dr. Ober in 1995 and was acquired by ENVOY Corp. in 1998.  In March 1999, ENVOY was acquired by Quintiles Transnational, the world’s largest Clinical Research Organization.  Prior to Synergy, Dr. Ober spent five years as executive vice president and corporate medical director of Private Health Care Systems (now part of Multiplan, Inc.), one of the largest national managed care companies in the country. Dr. Ober currently serves as director of the five year MD/MBA dual degree program, a collaborative program between Boston University Schools of Medicine and Management and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board.   Dr. Ober received his BA and MD degrees from Boston University, his clinical training in surgery and orthopedic surgery from University of California San Diego, and his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Cheryl Proval is vice president of publishing for ImagingBiz, a medical content development company based in Tustin, Calif., and editor of Radiology Business Journal. In 2006, she helped launch the monthly e-journal ImagingBiz.com, for leaders in medical imaging, with ImagingBiz CEO Curtis Kauffman-Pickelle. Prior to joining ImagingBiz, Ms. Proval served as publisher and editor of Imaging Economics, a position she held for nine years. A 30-year veteran of the publishing industry, she graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1975.

Harry Purcell began his career in radiology practice management in 1995.  As a member of Medical Management Professionals’ (MMP) Operations team, his clients currently staff both hospitals and imaging centers in the state of Florida.  In 2009, Mr. Purcell sought and obtained opinion 10-20, published on September 28, 2010, by the Office of the Inspector General.  This established that no administrative sanctions under sections 1128(b) (7) or 1128A (a) (7) of the Social Security Act would be imposed upon [a Florida based radiology practice] offering free insurance pre-authorization services to referring physicians. Mr. Purcell is the current Chair of the MMP Electronic Health Records Committee and a member of the Accountable Care Organization taskforce.  

Liz Quam serves as director of the CDI Institute, an initiative of the Center for Diagnostic Imaging, dedicated to professional development for radiologists and identification of quality indicators for purchasers of health care. She also serves as volunteer executive vice president of Advocates for Marketplace Options for Mainstreet (AMOM), a non-profit coalition that fosters more options for health care providers and employers. She has served on a number of nonprofit boards, including her current service as president-elect of the Minnesota Rural Health Association. She is also a member of the University of Minnesota, Crookston, Advisory Task Force. She is a frequent presenter and author regarding health care industry issues.

Kirk A. Rebane, ASA, CFA co-founded Haverford Healthcare Advisors in 1994 and has worked as a financial advisor to health care and radiology businesses in the areas of valuation and mergers and acquisitions for more than 25 years. Mr. Rebane holds a BA in statistics from Dartmouth College, as well as an MS in finance from Drexel University. He has been a senior member of the American Society of Appraisers, designated in the specialty of business valuations, for more than 20 years, and is a former member of the International Board of Examiners of the ASA. Mr. Rebane is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of various professional organizations, including the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, the Financial Analysts Federation of Philadelphia, and the Estate Planning Council of Philadelphia. 

Randal Roat, CHBME, is the Chief Operating Officer for Strategic Radiology, LLC, a national radiology collaborative of over 1,000 radiologists. Mr. Roat has authored numerous radiology industry articles, lectures at RBMA and other industry association events, has served on various RBMA committees, functioned as a RBMA board liaison and recently received the RBMA's prestigious Calhoun award for lifetime service to RBMA. He built, and sold, a regional billing service and technology company. For the past 6 years, he served as Vice President of radiology services for Medical Management Professionals, Inc. (MMP). He has held leadership roles in the following functional areas: compliance, government relations, business development, finance, mergers and acquisitions, technology and strategic planning. Mr. Roat is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in information systems and business administration, with additional post-graduate education from the University of Michigan and the Wharton School of Business. 

Greg Rose, MD, PhD, has served as President and CEO of Rays since its inception in 2005. His scientific background includes a physics B.S. from Bucknell University, a Ph.D. in physics from Texas A&M, university physics teaching of Electricity and Magnetism, General Physics, and Astronomy, and defense research for the US Army. His medical background includes medical school at UTMB, radiology residency at the Baylor University Medical Center, and an MRI fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He has presented research at Physics and Medical conferences and has published work in the fields of solid state theory, laser theory, mammography, teleradiology, and Magnetic Resonance Elastography. Dr. Rose holds medical technology patents and also has patents pending. He is the chief architect of the RaysTracker™ (RIS). Dr. Rose has been in private radiology practice since 1998 and serves as one of the interpreting radiologists for Rays. 

Kenneth S. Schwartz, MD, is medical director of New York Radiology Alliance in Bedford Hills, N.Y. After receiving his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., Dr. Schwartz went on to finish an internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Cooperating Program in New York.

Fred Seilkop has 21 years of experience in medical professional liability insurance. He is a founding partner of Healthcare Professional Services, Inc., which specializes in placing medical malpractice coverage for preferred and high risk physicians. Mr. Seilkop is responsible for the management and direction of over 2,100 insurance accounts, and has served six years as president of a reinsurance captive.

Laurie Slater has held leadership roles within health care for over a decade. Her expertise is in business development strategies with an emphasis on sales and marketing for Ambulatory settings. Her professional background includes operations of outreach and retail centers, building and leading sales functions from the ground up, business and marketing planning, physician cultivation and referral development. She has a proven track record in ambulatory sales force functions, territory management, competitive data analysis, brand positioning as well as ROI growth tactics. She has extensive experience in leadership training having consulted with executives and taught classes in leadership development throughout her career. Ms. Slater is a Certified Corporate Trainer and a national speaker serving as faculty and presenter for many health care organizations.

Douglas G. Smith, FRBMA, is Managing Partner, Strategic Positioning & Consulting Services Division of Integrated Medical Partners, LLC, a health care consulting firm specializing in Integrated Imaging Strategy Development, Strategic Action Planning, Imaging Center Development & Management, Profit Improvement Implementation for Radiology Group Practices, hospitals & health systems and other diagnostic imaging related organizations. Mr. Smith also serves as Senior Executive Vice President Strategic Initiatives, Integrated Medical Partners, LLC. Following over 20 years in the Defense business sector as Vice President of Imaging Technology and Business Development, and six years as President of a Health Care Consulting Group, a division of a large CPA Firm, Mr. Smith founded Barrington Lakes Group 15 years ago as a unique niche consulting firm with specialized expertise. Barrington Lakes Group merged with Integrated Medical Partners in 2011.Doug has served two terms on the Legislative Affairs Committee of the RBMA, and currently serves on the RBMA Alternative Payment Models Task Force.  

Airica Steed, RN, MBA, Ed.D., is the vice president of professional services and operations excellence for a large multi-site health care organization based in Libertyville, Ill. She is accountable for the executive leadership and accountability of a wide portfolio of high value operational areas including imaging services, women's ambulatory services, outpatient oncology, informatics, operations improvement, and customer service. Dr. Steed serves as the Executive Champion for a multi-faceted cultural transformation effort geared towards elevating the experience for patients, families, physicians, and employees. She is also charged with leading organization-wide change and strategic efforts leveraging a mixed methods approach inclusive of Lean Management, Malcolm Baldrige framework, and Change Leadership principles. Her experience includes spearheading and leading large-scale change efforts, strategic and tactical planning and execution, leadership development, operations improvement, project/program management, and operations management.

Mark Stevens is the Chief Operating Officer of USTeleradiology, LLC. As the COO, Mr. Stevens provides day to day management for USTeleradiology and its affiliated entities. Prior to joining USTeleradiology, he was employed in the Financial Services Industry where he served as the Director of Operations at Bricolage Capital, LLC, Apex Capital Management, LLC and Pinnacle Asset Management, LLC, a family of boutique financial services firms made up of a Registered Investment Advisor and two Hedge Funds. Early in his career he served ten years in the United States Army and Army Reserve, three years of which were on active duty. Mr. Stevens was deployed to Germany with the 340th Military Police Company where he was attached to the 18th Military Police Brigade in support of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War. When he returned Stateside, he served as an Enlisted Aid-de-Camp and Executive Protection NCO to the Commanding General of the 77th Regional Support Command during the Balkans War and Somalia Crisis. After his Honorable Discharge, Mr. Stevens entered Law Enforcement serving as a Deputy Sherriff in New York City and a Police Officer for United States Department of Veterans Affairs where he worked in an investigative capacity and earned commendations for investigative excellence and bravery. Upon his departure from Law Enforcement, he took a position with a dotcom start up called Accufacts Pre-Employment Screening Inc. While with Accufacts, Mr. Stevens managed the firm’s most profitable department and helped take Accufacts through an IPO where it entered the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol, APES. 

David Stone serves as the executive vice president with Medical Management Professionals, Inc. (MMP) in its Brentwood, Tenn. office. Mr. Stone brings more than 31 years of experience to the company. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in business administration.

Jef Williams, MBA, PMP, is vice president for Ascendian Healthcare Consulting, headquartered in Sacramento, Calif. His responsibilities include oversight of daily operations, business strategy and development, and team management. In addition, Mr. Williams is project director for the Statewide Clinical Imaging Project working with the Federal Receiver in his efforts to remediate radiology and imaging services within the 33 California adult prisons. Mr. Williams received his Master of Business Administration from California State University Sacramento and his Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts at The Masters College.
