Peer Review Author Guidelines

The RBMA Bulletin is a leading professional journal for managers, administrators and directors of radiology practices and imaging centers. The publication is approximately 44-48 pages in length, and includes feature articles on governance and organization dynamics; financial, asset, and revenue cycle management; regulatory, compliance and risk management; human resources; clinical operations; communication and electronic imaging; and personal development.

The RBMA Bulletin is published six times per year: January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, and November/December.

Copyright

Articles submitted must be original and not previously published. The same article will also not be published elsewhere without written consent of the copyright holder, Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA).

Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to assign copyright to RBMA for First North American Rights. A letter will be sent to the corresponding author confirming acceptance of the article along with a form facilitating transfer of copyright.

If a previously published article would be beneficial to members of RBMA, RBMA may consider a reprint and will publish the article after obtaining the copyright permission from the corresponding author. Please provide us with the name of the publication, the volume, and issue in which the article appeared.

All authors should first submit a proposed title and abstract for approval. That would help determine if a similar article is already in the pipeline and/or the topic is not sufficiently scholarly. If accepted, you would then submit a manuscript, giving RBMA the first right of refusal for publication. You agree not to submit the article elsewhere until RBMA makes a decision about its publication.

Articles published contain the expressed opinions and experiences of the authors and do not necessarily represent the viewpoint of RBMA.

We cannot guarantee that an article will appear in a certain issue of RBMA Bulletin. The sooner we receive and accept the article, the earlier it can be scheduled it for publication.

Authors will receive an advance copy of the issue in which their article appears.
