2010 Radiology Coding Mechanics Online Quiz

MedLearn is offering 7.00 CEUs toward recertification of your Radiology Certified Coder (RCC) designation by correctly answering a series of questions in our online quiz. First, you'll need to view the 2010 Radiology Coding Mechanics Course DVD, produced by the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and co-presented by MedLearn's Jeff Majchrzak, BA, RT(R), CNMT, RCC, CIRCC.

Instructions:

  • You will receive log-in instructions within 24 hours (or next business day) of ordering.
  • Answer 30 multiple choice questions; it typically takes 30 to 45 minutes.
  • You're allowed to retake the quiz one time.
  • If you score 80% or higher, you'll be issued an online certificate of continuing education.
  • Print out the certificate and submit it to the Radiology Coding Certification Board (RCCB) with your application for RCC recertification.

Webcast #1: What’s In, What’s Out, What’s Vital to Know
What this session will cover:

  • A review of new and discontinued vascular IR codes for 2011
  • Explanations of the new coding guidelines, including definitions for exclusive vs. inclusive codes
  • How the new coding rules affect specific areas, such as coding for tibial peroneal vessels; multiple extremity interventions; catheter placements; and diagnostic vs. therapeutic procedures
